Star Wars Battlefront- Half Baked, Well Seasoned

Star Wars Battlefront has been controversial to say the least. Trailers hyped up fans of the series and the Star Wars brand in general, many of which who pre-ordered expecting a proper sequel to Battlefront II. The beta reinforced this with the ability to play conquest on Hoth. By then most skeptics felt swayed and handed over their money. The game was released with 4 main maps. This and the limited number of weapons, modes, and lack of a server browser led to the swift shrinking of the game's fanbase.

The DLC included in the Season Pass:

$15 Outer Rim Expansion- 4 new maps on Tatooine and Sullust including Jabba's Throne, 2 new heroes- Greedo and Nien Nunb, Extraction mode, 2 new weapons, and 3 new star cards

$15 Bespin Expansion- 5 new maps on the Cloud City of Bespin, 2 new heroes- Lando Calrissian and Dengar, Cloud Car vehicle, Sabotage mode, 2 new weapons, 3 new star cards

$15 Death Star Expansion- 5 new maps in space and on the Death Star, 2 new heroes- Chewbacca and Bossk, Battle Station mode, Luke Skywalker's Red Five X-wing vehicle and Darth Vader's TIE Advanced vehicle, 2 new weapons, 2 new star cards

$15 Rogue One: Scarif Expansion- 4 new maps including the beaches of Scariff, 2 new heroes- Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic, Infiltration Mode, U-wing vehicle, 2 new weapons, 3 new star cards

Star Wars: Battlefront Season Pass Verdict:

The DLC we have gotten so far is not weak. Although as a fan of past iterations I must express my dissapointment with the base game, it lacks the depth for harcore players. The DLC adds sufficient content for a great base game. If you held off on the base game and are still intrested, you might want to save your money for next Battlefront, which will be released in Holiday 2017. I believe this game was not worth $60 at launch and still isn't worth nearly that amount now.
